Lacuniacha
Add to my travelIn the valley of Tena, a privileged location in the Aragonese Pyrenees, lies the wildlife park of Lacuniacha. It is a 30-hectare forest where you can see many wild animals up close in their natural habitat while enjoying a pleasant walk in the mountains.
Lacuniacha is located in Piedrafita de Jaca, in the heart of the Tena Valley. You can reach the entrance by car and you only need to be properly equipped, with appropriate clothing and trekking footwear
The rest of facilities are provided there, including backpacks to carry babies in tow. As for food and drink, there are two rest areas where getting back to one’s feet.
The animals enjoy the day-to-day life in their natural habitat and the visitors, following the path that runs next to the enclosures in which their tenants graze, enjoy being integrated for a few hours in this lively forest.
It is interesting to look at the daring leaps that sarrios take, the curious mountain goat, in the powerful European bison and in the funny Pzewalski horses. The lynx dazzles by its sharp sight; the reddish gamos, for their beauty; and the reindeer, for its impressive antlers. The deer ruminate calmly while the wolves roam between bushes with stiff ears.
A fascinating journey through nature to please youngsters and elders.
