Beautiful mountains and a wide variety of slopes will attract you to Candanchú; its family character and wide range of services will make you return. By the way, did you know it was the first ski resort to open in Spain?

Only a couple of kilometres separate this Pyrenean station from the French border.

It was the first ski resort inaugurated in Spain and also the first in which ski courses were offered.

Today, whether you want to get started (the “Pista Grande” is one of the best areas of the country for this purpose) or if you are looking to perfect your technique, the Ski School of Candanchú offers ski courses for all ages.

Almost all of Candanchú’s descents are mythical slopes, a shining example is the Tobazo. The Tuca Blanca, with its 2,400 meters, acts as the roof of the station. If you climb it, you will enjoy the spectacular landscape where the snow is the star.

You can complete your visit to Aragon with an excursion to Jaca, the beautiful monastery of San Juan de la Peña or by stopping to tour the Canfranc International Railway Station. If you have time, get lost in the valleys of Hecho and Ansó, or contemplate the beauty of the Romanesque in villages such as Borau, Siresa or in the valley of the Garcipollera.
